Tower Health Urgent Care - Plymouth Meeting announced today that it is currently offering the single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, while supplies last. No appointment is required to receive the vaccine; walk-ins are welcome. All Tower Health Urgent Care facilities are open 365 days a year from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Tower Health Urgent Care - Plymouth Meeting serves the residents of Plymouth Meeting and the surrounding areas, including East Norriton, Norristown, Conshohocken, and Lafayette Hill.
“The Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is the only single-dose vaccine available to fight against the ongoing pandemic,” said Charles Barbera, MD, Tower Health Vice President, Pre-Hospital and Unscheduled Care. “The vaccine received Emergency Use Authorization from the FDA in February and is very effective at preventing hospitalization and death because of COVID-19. It can be administered to individuals 18 years and older.”
The Tower Health Urgent Care team includes board-certified Physicians and Advance Practice Providers. To provide fully integrated care, all Tower Health Urgent Care Centers use EPIC, the electronic medical record in use across Tower Health.
