April 19, 2024 – Tower Health announced that longtime employee Richard McLaughlin, MD, MBA has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenixville Hospital and Pottstown Hospital.

February 6, 2024 - With firearms remaining the leading cause of injury and death in children, the nation’s largest regional collaboration of health systems, representing 59 hospitals in Philadelphia, Southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Southern New Jersey, is kicking off the year with a public service campaign that encourages a community approach to protecting children from unlocked guns.

January 31, 2024 - Tower Health is pleased to announce that Rohinton Morris, M.D. FACS, a nationally respected cardiac surgeon, will become the system’s Chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery this spring. 

January 22, 2024 - With maternal mortality rates on the rise across the United States and in Pennsylvania, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has designated January 23 as Maternal Health Awareness Day. The theme for 2024 is 'Access in Crisis'.

January 18, 2024 - As the nation marked what would have been the 95th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., on Monday, January 15, employees throughout Tower Health participated in special Day of Service projects that honored his legacy and also benefited our patients and the communities we serve.

January 16, 2024 - Tower Health’s commitment to clinical quality has once again earned the health system national recognition from Healthgrades for the high-quality care that its team members provide to patients in several clinical specialty areas.

November 13, 2023 -  Tower Health provides excellent cancer care across all locations. We are now aligning this care even more closely. Starting in November, Phoenixville Hospital Cancer Center and Pottstown Hospital Cancer Center will become McGlinn Cancer Institute at Phoenixville Hospital and McGlinn Cancer Institute at Pottstown Hospital.
