Psychiatry Residency Program at Phoenixville Hospital

Virtual Open Houses

Looking for a rewarding and enriching residency program in psychiatry? The Psychiatry Residency Program at Phoenixville Hospital provides a variety of experiences to ensure that our trainees are exposed to a wealth of different types of patients and clinical approaches.

We are in one of the most diverse, vibrant, and affordable urban areas in the country and provide residents with a balance of training in psychotherapeutic and somatic approaches to patient care. Inpatient, outpatient, and community-based training experiences include neuromodulation, telepsychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and substance use disorders. Extensive training in psychodynamic, group, supportive, and cognitive behavioral therapy occurs throughout the residency. The four-year accredited general psychiatry residency program has 32 positions, with eight residents per year.

Join us for a Virtual Open House where we’ll provide an overview of the program and a Q&A with the Program Director.
