Professional librarians provide customized information resources and services to healthcare staff, residents, employees, and students across all Tower Health entities. The library is open by appointment only to community members for health-related information searches, and is staffed by two masters’ prepared medical librarians.

The library's online subscription resources include DynaMed, Clinical Key, Embase, Ovid, APA PsychInfo, Cochrane Collection, Nursing Reference Center Plus, and JBI, among others.

The library maintains a small print collection for healthcare professionals featuring books and journals on medicine, nursing, allied health, healthcare management, and spiritual care.

The library space contains 16 desktop computers for patron use, as well as wireless Internet access; four group study rooms; two conference rooms; and open spaces for work, study, and resting. Residents and fellows have 24/7 badge access to the medical library space.

Access to consumer health information resources is provided as a courtesy to patients, patient caregivers, and the local community. People wishing to use the library for health-related information-seeking purposes must contact our staff to make an appointment prior to their visit.
