We aim to provide a high-quality Emergency Medicine experience at our independent academic center, one of the busiest single-site emergency departments in Pennsylvania and among the top nationally. Our goal is to make this rotation both educational and enjoyable.

This four‑week rotation immerses students in bedside emergency care supported by weekly didactics. Students work directly with board‑certified Emergency Medicine physicians and senior residents, participate in common procedures, and engage with our multidisciplinary team.

Students gain experience in evaluating and stabilizing urgent and emergent conditions within a large hospital environment. Additional opportunities include ride‑alongs with paramedics, weekly conferences, procedure days, pediatric and trauma shifts, ultrasound workshops, mock resuscitations, and simulation sessions aligned with our resident curriculum.
