
Clinical Experience
The clinical experience is primarily at Reading hospital and the outpatient McGlinn cancer Center. Six months is spent on the inpatient service which is combined inpatient Hematology/Oncology service as well as consultation services. The fellow will supervise a team that may include medical residence, students and advanced practitioners.
The outpatient experience is spent primarily in the McGlinn Cancer Center outpatient clinics spending time with general hematologist/oncologist with focused interests as well as disease specific multi-disciplinary clinic experiences.
Rotations in stem cell transplantation, acute leukemia and outpatient hemostasis and thrombosis are offered at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Continuity Clinic 12 months. During the third year, fellows will spend 50% other time at a research project and will spend one day per week in clinic related to the clinical research. A third and fourth half day clinic where the fellow can rotate between different attending physicians to gain further experience according to their needs is also recommended. Additional elective so will be available. |
