Tower Health Medical Group’s mission is to provide health care of the highest quality and value to our communities. “Find a Doctor” profiles are updated frequently so you have information you need to choose, contact or familiarize yourself with our medical providers. As part of our continuing commitment to meeting patient and community expectations, we contract with a third-party organization to survey patients about their experiences. No one collects and receives more feedback on Tower Health medical providers than Tower Health, so we are making it available to you!
Tell me about the survey.
Tower Health Medical Group measures all aspects of the patient experience. To ensure that we are holding ourselves to the highest standards, we partner with an independent patient satisfaction company, Press Ganey (South Bend, Ind.). Press Ganey works with more than 10,000 health care organizations nationwide to help improve clinical and business outcomes. Every year, approximately 50,000 Tower Health Medical Group patients respond to these surveys.
Why is this rating the most trustworthy and accurate representation of patient satisfaction?
There are other online provider rating sites, but only Tower Health Medical Group can guarantee that these ratings come from patients who have seen our medical providers. No other online doctor rating site can come close to the number of responses we are privileged to receive from our patients.
Who receives the survey?
Patients are randomly selected by a third-party vendor to receive a paper text or email surveys within a few days of their appointment. Patients are asked to complete the survey and provide comments regarding specific aspects of care. We use this feedback to improve and enhance the care we deliver.
How is a medical provider’s star rating determined?
The following Provider Communication questions are utilized to calculate the overall Star rating you see:
- Concern the care provider showed for your questions or worries.
- Explanations the care provider gave you about your problem or condition.
- Care provider’s efforts to include you in decisions about your care.
- Care provider’s discussion of any proposed treatment (options, risks, benefits, etc.).
- Likelihood of your recommending this care provider to others.

What does "Press Ganey Seal of Data Integrity" mean?
The seal displayed on each provider’s comment tab assures consumers of the scientific rigor of the data and analytics that form the basis of the physician ratings. Through this Seal of Integrity certification, patients can confidently assess our performance and trust in the quality of care Tower Health Medical Group physicians deliver. We are honored to be among a handful of medical groups in the nation to receive this certification.
