Edward A. Chabalowski, CPA, has been named Phoenixville Hospital Chief Financial Officer effective Monday, May 21, 2018.
Edward joins Phoenixville Hospital from Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA, where he served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2012. There, he led the operational and financial integration of the newly-acquired Community Medical Center. Prior to his time with Geisinger, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Temple University Hospital, where he was responsible for the value creation and financial management of a 677-bed academic medical center. During his career, he also held senior leadership positions in finance with Ernst & Young, LLP, and Pannell Kerr Forster in Philadelphia, PA, and Prudential Insurance Company, Millville, NJ.
Edward completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Rutgers College, Camden, NJ, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
With more than 30 years experience in healthcare finance, operations, and strategy, Edward is a skilled healthcare system finance leader who will drive financial strategy, achieve results, and identify future opportunities for Phoenixville Hospital.
