Tower Health Drexel University Family Medicine Residency Program at Chestnut Hill Hospital

The Tower Health Drexel University Family Medicine Residency Program at Chestnut Hill Hospital recently received a $10,000 Giant Foods Grant in support of the program’s food pantry initiative. The residency program started the food pantry at their center city location to provide healthy, non-perishable food options for patients and families in the local community. Leon McCrea II, MD, Program Director, states, “the ability to provide support to our patients that have food insecurity is really important, especially during these times.”

The GIANT Company is focused on supporting philanthropic efforts including eliminating hunger, changing children’s lives, and healing the planet, and is proud to support our food pantry program with this donation. We are pleased to recognize and celebrate the efforts of our residents who work hard every day to contribute to the health of our communities.
