As a result of committed efforts on both sides, Tower Health and Cigna have reached an agreement that will allow Cigna members to resume their in-network access to Tower Health services, effective May 1, 2024.

Tower Health and Cigna are focused on patient care and access and are pleased that Cigna members will be able to continue their care within Tower Health’s system of high-quality hospitals, doctor’s offices, and ambulatory services. Tower Health has reached a three-year agreement with Cigna commercial plans in all of its markets. Tower Health has reached an agreement to participate with Cigna’s Medicare Advantage plan in Chester and Montgomery counties through December 2025.

“Our top priority throughout these discussions was to make sure our patients have access to the clinical services, sites, and medical professionals they know and trust,” said P. Sue Perrotty, Chief Executive Officer, Tower Health. “This agreement accomplishes that goal. It also helps Tower Health establish effective partnerships with payers that support patient needs, now and well into the future.”

Tower Health is in the process of notifying Cigna patients about the new, multi-year agreements via electronic notifications and mailed letters. Cigna patients with questions can contact Tower Health at 1-833-348-6937.
