5) Ronald McDonald House® Entrance

Conveniently located next to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) of the Philadelphia Region’s Front & Erie location provides a temporary residence to 20 families with the comforts of home while also offering the support of staff and volunteers.

Visitor Guidelines

  • General visiting hours are from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
  • Parents and guardians may be with their child 24 hours a day.
  • An adult must supervise siblings and other children at all times.
  • Certain areas of the hospital, including our intensive care unit, may have different visiting hours and age requirements.
  • We may also restrict the number of visitors allowed in your child’s room at one time. Please ask your child’s nurse or other care team member about specific rules in their unit
  • All visitors must obtain a visitor badge from Guest Services in the lobby of each entrance before proceed-ing to a patient unit. Our guest services staff, located at every entrance, are happy to help you find your way.

Firearms and Weapons are Prohibited

Visitors, patients, and employees are prohibited from carrying weapons on St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children property at any time. Sworn law enforcement officers, in carrying out their official duties, are permitted to carry weapons. All cases requiring law enforcement personnel to carry weapons will be reported to the Security Department.
