The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) has recognized Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health in its Emergency Quality Network (E-QUAL) 2020 Honor Roll for leading the way in caring for emergency services patients in acute stroke diagnosis and treatment. Pottstown Hospital was the only hospital in Pennsylvania to receive the designation.

To earn the distinction, Pottstown Hospital participated in a yearlong learning collaborative that included virtual quality improvement activities and sharing of performance data, according to the ACEP.
In 2020, Pottstown Hospital was also recognized by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association with two Get With The Guidelines® Stroke Achievement Awards: the Stroke Gold Plus Award & Target: Stroke Elite Honor Roll Award. Both awards recognized the hospital’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines based on the latest scientific evidence.
