September 29, 2023 -  Seven Tower Health employees received special awards as part of the system’s recognition of Advance Practice Providers Week. Those awarded have made a positive and lasting impact on their colleagues, patients, and the community.

September 18, 2023 - Tower Health announced today that Debra L. Powell, MD, MS, FIDSA, has been appointed to the role of Chair, Department of Medicine effective September 1, 2023. She has been serving as interim chair since September 2022.

August 28, 2023 - In recognition of the quality of patient care provided at Reading Hospital, Phoenixville Hospital, and Pottstown Hospital, two national awards were presented to each.

July 10, 2023 - Tower Health announced today that Phoenixville Hospital, Pottstown Hospital, and Reading Hospital have received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® - Heart Failure Gold Plus with Target: Heart Failure Honor Roll and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll quality achievement award for their commitment to improving outcomes for patients with heart failure, meaning reduced readmissions and more healthy days at home.

May 5, 2023 - Pottstown Hospital announced that it has been recognized by Healthgrades as a 2023 Patient Safety Excellence Award™ recipient.

April 19, 2023 - During National Volunteer Week, Tower Health honors the many individuals who selflessly donate their time and talent to help the health system fulfill its mission of service to patients and the community. 

April 18, 2023 -  Tower Health will join healthcare organizations around the world in recognizing "Pediatric Sepsis Week" April 16 through 22. In the United States, 75,000 children are diagnosed with sepsis and 6,800 children die every year.

April 12, 2023 -  Most Americans believe it's important to have a record of their healthcare preferences available, should they become unable to share that information. That's why Tower Health supports National Healthcare Decisions Day, which takes place on Sunday, April 16.
