Reading Hospital Goes Orange to Recognize 'World Patient Safety Day' 

West Reading, PA., September 16, 2019 - On Tuesday, September 17, Reading Hospital will recognize the first annual "World Patient Safety Day," as designated by the World Health Organization (WHO). To acknowledge the ongoing commitment to patient safety provided by team members the fountain at the 6th Avenue/Clock Tower entrance will be orange. 

As part of their international campaign to raise awareness to the importance of patient safety WHO encouraged participants to light a fountain or monument in orange.
