Tower Health Partners® (THP) has added physicians from Premier Orthopaedics to THP's clinically integrated network. Premier is the largest orthopaedic practice in Delaware and Chester counties with 72 physicians and surgeons caring for patients in more than 30 physician offices, 16 therapy locations, three MRI facilities and two orthopaedic urgent care centers. With Premier Orthopaedics, Tower Health Partners includes 1,379 physicians in 52 specialties.

"Tower Health Partners is pleased to welcome Premier Orthopaedics to our growing network," said George A. Jenckes, III, MD, MS, FACP, CEO of Tower Health Partners. "This partnership expands options for orthopedic care for patients in our network by increasing the number of providers and sites for orthopaedic services within the Tower Health Partners service area."

The addition of Premier Orthopaedics to Tower Health Partners expands geographic coverage and access to Tower Health Tier One specialist providers and facilities.

The partnership advances Tower Health Partners' goal to offer patients access to nationally renowned physicians specializing in advanced orthopaedic medicine through Premier Orthopaedics' established model of care. In addition to providing patients access to high-quality physicians, the partnership will support ongoing and future value-based care initiatives, episodic care payment programs, population health management, and physician-driven strategies.

"Through our collaboration with Tower Health Partners, we will continue to provide an outstanding experience for our patients while working to lower costs and increase the value of care we provide together" said Matt O'Malley, CEO of Premier Orthopaedics. "As partners, our goal is to address some of today's healthcare challenges with a value-based approach that makes musculoskeletal care more accessible and more affordable for our patients."

Since its founding in 2012, THP has grown to become one of largest clinically integrated networks in Pennsylvania. THP supports physicians in implementing value-based care that increases collaboration, quality, and accountability.
