Tower Health Medical Group is proud to welcome Omer Nasir, MD, FACS. Dr. Nasir is a fellowship-trained surgeon providing general surgery procedures at Pottstown Hospital.   

Specializing in advanced laparoscopic surgery, he performs complex hernia repairs including ventral, inguinal, umbilical and incisional hernias; colon and small bowel resections, cholecystectomy and appendectomies; as well as a wide range of colorectal and anorectal procedures such as diverticulitis, colon and rectal cancer, hemorrhoids, anal fistulas and fissures.  

He is a member of the American College of Surgeons; the Society of American GI and Endoscopic Surgeons and The American Hernia Society. He is a graduate of Baghdad University School of Medicine, Iraq, as well as The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Scotland; he completed an Internship at The John’s Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD; and a Residency at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio.

He is in practice with Surgical Partners of Pottstown, and his office is located at 1597 Medical Drive, 2nd Floor.
