Volunteers can brighten the lives of our patients by providing a supportive presence, companionship through conversation, activity, helping with errands, and more.
Hospice volunteers are a special part of the Tower Health at Home hospice team. Please consider if you are able to provide your time and support in any of the following ways:
- Companionship for patients
- Administrative support in our hospice office
- Offering special skills, such as those of a licensed hair stylist, massage therapist, or Reiki practitioner
To become a hospice volunteer, you need to:
- Complete a comprehensive training course
- Be up-to-date on required immunizations
- Have a satisfactory criminal background clearance

Make A Difference Today
- Volunteers who are licensed or certified to provide services such as hair styling, massage therapy, Reiki, or other special skills can devote their talents to our patients.
- Volunteers can provide administrative support by filing, copying, entering data, making phone calls, and other similar activities.
- Volunteers can dedicate their time at our flu clinics that are held on and off site.
- Volunteers do not administer medications or provide hands on care.
