Our Mission

We are dedicated to the delivery of comprehensive, high-quality care that supports and respects the values and expectations of each individual and family in our diverse community. We provide this care in a safe, responsive, and cost-effective manner. Our skilled healthcare team is committed to helping you transition into parenting in an environment focused on your family's well-being.

Our Collaborative Care Team

We are an interdisciplinary team of nurses, nurse midwives, and resident and attending physicians who are supported by other clinical and clerical staff. We aim to provide you with the highest quality, safe, considerate, and caring birth experience in our clinical learning environment. Students at all levels are an important part of our units and may be involved in your care. It has been shown that academic medical centers provide safer and higher-quality care. Experienced providers are leaders in caring for you and your baby. To promote quality and safety, our collaborative care team relies on all the obstetric providers within the department, and you may receive services from a provider that you have not seen during your prenatal appointments. Please have a conversation with your provider for any further clarification or to address any concerns. We wish you a healthy and happy pregnancy!
