Reading Hospital Foundation to Dedicate Healing Garden Reflection Pool in Honor of Work Family

On Monday, November 20, Reading Hospital Foundation will host a dedication ceremony for the "Work Family Reflection Pool" and celebrate the generosity Tom Work and his family, who recently gave a generous gift to Reading Hospital Foundation in support of education. The event will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Reading HealthPlex Healing Garden, Ground Level. Remarks from Clint Matthews, President and Chief Executive Officer, Tower Health and Reading Hospital and Chris Karas, Reading Hospital Foundation President, will begin at 4 p.m.

Tom and Dianne Work have been friends of Reading Hospital for many years. Tom joined the Board of Directors in 2004, and served as Chairman from 2009 to 2013. He was a founding member of the Reading Hospital Foundation Board, which was established in January 2015.

Reading Hospital Foundation, which funds initiatives that improve healthcare in the community through innovation, education and research, is recognizing the Work family's generosity by dedicating The Healing Garden Reflection Pool in their honor. The water feature - a series of serene waterfalls flowing over natural stone - will be named the "Work Family Reflection Pool" in commemoration of their gift.
