The region's largest physician group is continuing to grow with the integration of Reading Anesthesia Associates with Reading Health Physician Network (RHPN). This will become effective on July 1.
Reading Anesthesia Associates has been the exclusive provider of anesthesia services to Reading Hospital and its ambulatory surgery centers for nearly 30 years. This integration further improves coordinated access to high quality anesthesia services to patients.
An additional 28 board-certified anesthesiologists and two nurse anesthetists will join our team and will continue delivery of anesthesia services to our patients undergoing inpatient and outpatient procedures at Reading HealthPlex, The Reading Hospital SurgiCenter at Spring Ridge, and ambulatory surgery centers in the region.
Aligning Reading Anesthesia Associates with RHPN increases the ability to provide patients with a full continuum of services. Broadening the depth of the multi-specialty group with such highly respected practices is an extremely positive development.
