Reading Health System is partnering with United Way for the eighth year to coordinate the 2017 Stuff the Bus - Adopt a Classroom campaign for the Reading Area School District. A total of 104 classrooms and 21 school nurses were adopted by Reading Health departments for Glenside Elementary, Millmont Elementary, Tyson-Schoener Elementary, and all Reading Area School District Nurses. Reading Health staff assemble "dream boxes" for each classroom, consisting of supplies teachers and school nurses frequently purchase on their own to support student learning and health.

On Friday, August 25, two school buses will travel to all participating sites for employees to "Stuff the Bus" with their donations. The bus will arrive at Reading Hospital at 11 a.m. Buses then stop at each school, where Reading Hospital's Magnet Champion Team, who coordinated the event, will deliver donations to the school faculty.
