January 22, 2024 - With maternal mortality rates on the rise across the United States and in Pennsylvania, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has designated January 23 as Maternal Health Awareness Day. The theme for 2024 is 'Access in Crisis'.

December 5, 2023 - This holiday season, The Friends of Reading Hospital are encouraging employees and community members to shop local at the annual Holiday Happenings Craft Shop on Wednesday, December 6 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be held in the Reading Hospital Fifth Avenue Lobby and Conference Rooms 1 to 3. Free valet parking is available at the 5th Avenue Garage.

November 28, 2023 - Reading Hospital will open a third full-service pharmacy on Wednesday, November 29 in Wyomissing. Among the services offered at the new pharmacy is free home delivery to residents within a 25-mile radius.

November 16, 2023 – Reading Hospital is excited to announce that H. Christopher Lawson, MD, has been promoted to the role of Division Chief, Neurosurgery effective October 5.
