September 18, 2023 - Tower Health announced today that Debra L. Powell, MD, MS, FIDSA, has been appointed to the role of Chair, Department of Medicine effective September 1, 2023. She has been serving as interim chair since September 2022.

August 30, 2023 - Reading Hospital Road Run is set for October 15, 2023, hosted by The Friends of Reading Hospital. Two races are available: a half marathon and a 5K. The deadline for registration is October 10.
August 28, 2023 - In recognition of the quality of patient care provided at Reading Hospital, Phoenixville Hospital, and Pottstown Hospital, two national awards were presented to each.
August 24, 2023 – Reading Hospital Magnet Champions partnered with United Way of BerksCounty to support the Reading School District through the 2023 Stuff the Bus campaign.

August 17, 2023 - The popular Reading Hospital Bike Share Program is returning thanks to funding provided by The Friends of Reading Hospital, following a temporary pause during the COVID-19 pandemic.
August 9, 2023 - The third entering class of Drexel University College of Medicine at Tower Health’s MD program will follow in the footsteps of their classmates on Thursday, August 10. As part of their orientation, they will paint a mural that, when complete, will be displayed at the corner of North 11th and Richmond Streets in Reading.
