April 22, 2020 - Tower Health announced today that it is participating in important research involving the use of plasma from those who have recovered from COVID-19. The goal is to investigate the use of antibodies, presumed to be present in the plasma, as a treatment for those with the disease.

April 21, 2020 - Tower Health announced today that it will begin furloughing approximately 1,000 FTEs in response to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the health system. Impacted employees work in a range of support, administrative, and technical areas.

April 16, 2020 - Reading Hospital - Tower Health has relocated its Donation Drop off tent to the 6th Avenue (Clock Tower) drive. This change will be effective, Thursday, April 16 at 8 a.m.
