Visiting Guidelines

Patients may have two visitors (14 and older) at a time during normal visiting times. This is applicable to all areas of the Hospital. Children may visit at the discretion of the patient’s clinical team. All visitors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

COVID Diagnosis - Visitors for COVID-19 positive patients who are not end-of-life are permitted only by exception based on clinical judgment.

Mask Requirements

Pottstown Hospital will continue its current policies requiring all employees, medical staff, and visitors to wear masks inside all our facilities, including all clinical and non-clinical areas such as hallways, dining areas, and common spaces. The CDC announced that individuals fully vaccinated against COVID-19 do not need to wear a mask outside or indoors, except under certain circumstances. Hospitals and healthcare settings remain two of the settings in which the CDC and PA DOH still require masks to be worn. Our priority is to protect the health and safety of our patients and team members, so in addition to requiring masks, we will also continue to check temperatures of everyone as they enter our facilities.
