About Our Treatments
The type of treatment offered depends upon your personal circumstances. What you can expect is a team approach that allows for the participation of multiple medical and therapeutic professionals. This ensures that you receive the best, most appropriate care possible.
We take a multidisciplinary approach to behavioral health that takes into account each client’s individual needs. A highly skilled team combined with a wide variety of approaches to treatment translates into outstanding, personalized care for you or someone close to you.
Our services fall into the following categories.
Our Psychiatric Evaluation Center provides 10 private rooms and additional space for consultation with specialists for patients who are experiencing a mental health or emotional crisis.
Clients who arrive via the emergency room exhibiting a need for our services undergo an assessment of health, psychiatric condition, social supports, and needs. Our team will then prepare a personalized care plan that includes suggested goals, present the plan to the client, and if necessary, modify it with the client’s input.
Outpatient care is often the best approach when normal coping styles no longer work. The Center for Mental Health helps people cope with everyday problems that sometimes require extra support. We help clients not only find relief from symptoms but ways to function effectively as quickly as possible.
Inpatient Care and Treatment
Our psychiatric facilities house adult and geriatric units. The average length of a stay is one week. The clinical team consists of:
• Psychiatric nursing staff
• Social workers
• Adjunctive therapists, or therapists who support the primary treatment with additional treatments
Treatment also includes family therapy as well as education. We also offer comprehensive aftercare and discharge planning to help clients and families cope with the illness.
