May 22, 2024 - Tower Health’s Reading Hospital announced today that it has been recognized as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals for Outpatient Orthopedic Surgery by Healthgrades, the leading resource consumers use to find a hospital or doctor.

May 21, 2024 - Reading Hospital announced today that Debbie Rahn, EdD, MSN, RN, has been named Executive Director, Dean of Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences (RHSHS).

May 3, 2024 - On April 8, 2024, the American Psychiatry Association (APA) hosted a national webinar for all incoming international medical graduate (IMG) residents titled, “Post Match: The Transition to Residency for Matched IMGs”.

May 3, 2024 - Phoenixville Hospital Medical Staff held an Honoree Reception to recognize 11 physicians who retired with over 20 years of service to Phoenixville Hospital. The medical staff members gathered at the Phoenixville Country Club to share the stories and accolades of these dedicated physicians.

May 3, 2024 - The Reading Hospital Laboratory at Berkshire Heights has moved to a larger and more convenient location for patients. The lab will be renamed Reading Hospital Laboratory Services–Wyomissing and opened at 2101 State Hill Road, Suite 4.

May 1, 2024 - As of today, TowerDIRECT ambulances in Reading and Phoenixville will be the first in the state to carry blood products for patient transfusions. With TowerDIRECT paramedics being the first to provide this life-saving service, ambulances will be available to all regional county 911 agencies as a resource.
