June 7, 2021 - Pottstown Hospital announced the annual Nursing Excellence Award winners during the recent annual Nursing Week.

Pottstown Hospital – Tower Health has joined a nationwide effort to encourage patients to resume appropriate cancer screenings to diagnose and treat cancer during their earliest stage.

Specialized rehabilitation therapists at Pottstown Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation use the LSVT BIG® and LSVT LOUD® Programs to help patients living with Parkinson’s disease improve movement, speech, and swallowing.

May 18, 2021 - The pandemic is not over, but the desire to return to normal is strong, especially as warmer weather returns. However, many individuals may be anxious to safely “reenter” into more normal activities, while also feeling uncertain about safety and how to address the many changes forced upon themselves, their families, and their communities over the last year.

May 17, 2021 - According to both the CDC and the Pennsylvania Department of Health, all persons must continue to wear masks in all hospitals, outpatient facilities, urgent care centers, and physician offices. In compliance with this guidance, Tower Health will continue its current policies requiring all employees, medical staff, patients, and visitors to wear masks in inside all Tower Health facilities, including all clinical and non-clinical areas such as hallways, dining areas, and common spaces.

April 15, 2021 - In accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) guidelines, Tower Health has opened scheduling of vaccination appointments to all individuals 16 years of age and older.

April 1, 2021 - Each day, 17 people in the United States die while waiting for a life-saving organ transplant. Tower Health is pleased to join the Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) and Gift of Life Donor Program and organ procurement organizations throughout the country to inspire hope, advocacy, and passion as part of a statewide campaign to promote organ and tissue donation. Gift of Life encourages individuals to register to become an organ, tissue, and cornea donor.
