Minimally Invasive Surgery

Short Procedure is for patients requiring a variety of surgical and diagnostic procedures, including endoscopy, colonoscopy, pain management, cardiac catheterization, venous ablation, liver biopsy, phlebotomy, intravenous (IV) infusion, wound care, chemotherapy and more. It also serves as the general admitting area for all surgical patients having an ambulatory short procedure or inpatient general surgery. The SPU staff, consisting of registered nurses), will assure that all pre-operative testing, patient information, patient instructions, and necessary documentation are completed prior to either type of surgery or procedure.
