Reading Hospital opened its fourth full-service pharmacy location, making it even quicker and easier to have prescriptions filled.

Reading Hospital Broadcasting Pharmacy, at 1220 Broadcasting Road, Suite 101, Wyomissing, is conveniently located next door to Reading Hospital Weight Loss Surgery and Wellness Center.

“With the addition of a fourth pharmacy, Reading Hospital is able to serve more patients and members of this community, allowing them more options for obtaining medications and prescriptions,” said Charles F. Barbera, MD, President and CEO of Reading Hospital. “We provide medications that other local pharmacies may have challenges stocking due to national drug shortages.”

Broadcasting Pharmacy offers medication counseling, convenient prescription transfers, text notifications, automatic refills, and can house medications that require complex storage and management. The pharmacy is open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Most insurance plans are accepted. “Our clinical support and excellent customer service means you will always have the resources you need, no matter what type of medication you require,” Dr. Barbera said.

“We believe that by providing pharmaceutical services in convenient locations, we can reach more people and make healthcare more accessible,” said Stephanie Goldman, PharmD, BCPS, Vice President of Pharmacy, “I’m so proud to be here today to continue our mission of helping our community access the best care for their health and wellbeing.”
