May 1, 2024 - As of today, TowerDIRECT ambulances in Reading and Phoenixville will be the first in the state to carry blood products for patient transfusions. With TowerDIRECT paramedics being the first to provide this life-saving service, ambulances will be available to all regional county 911 agencies as a resource.

May 1, 2024 - Our dedicated community volunteers are always generous with their time and talent -- from cradling babies in the NICU to organizing programs and events. April 19, 2024 – Tower Health entities have announced that longtime employee Richard McLaughlin, MD, MBA has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenixville Hospital and Pottstown Hospital.

April 18, 2024 – Reading Hospital received a prestigious award for its High School Internship Program, which helps to address gaps in career exploration opportunities through hands-on experiences.

April 10, 2024 - Tower Health will welcome a select 108 residents this summer after receiving nearly 16,000 applications. The newest class of residents will join the organization’s 12 ACGME-accredited Residency Programs in July 2024.

April 1, 2024 – Researchers at Reading Hospital are asking for community input to determine participation in an international study. The study would assess whether a blood clotting drug, given soon after arrival in the emergency department, can improve survival.
