May 11, 2022 - On Monday, May 16, at 4 p.m., local Girl Scout Troop 1385, along with Troop Leaders Kathryn Tilley and Laura Schlegel, will visit members of the Reading Hospital Emergency Department (ED) team to recognize them as Hometown Heroes. The event will take place in the 5th Avenue Conference Center.

May 10, 2022 - The fifth annual Berks Trail Challenge began on Sunday, May 1 and will continue through Monday, October 31. Participants can visit BeWellBerks.org/berks-trail-challenge to register and print out a challenge card for each participant or family to record trail visits, as well as directions to each location.

April 29, 2022 - Fernando Garcia, MD, has been named Chair, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Reading Hospital and Medical Director, Pathology Service Line for Tower Health. In this role, he is responsible for providing medical leadership and program development for the Department, as well as integrating and evolving Pathology services provided across Tower Health.

April 21, 2022 - Reading Hospital - Tower Health announced today that it is one of only 14 organizations across the country, and one of three in Pennsylvania, selected to receive a grant from The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) and the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO).

April 12, 2022 - Reading Hospital will celebrate its commitment to building awareness about the importance of organ donation by raising a "2022 Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) Donate Life Challenge" flag on Thursday, April 14, beginning at 10 a.m. at the Fifth Avenue entrance.
