June 14, 2022 - Reading Rehabilitation Hospital at Wyomissing (RHRW) has received Three-Year Accreditation from The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for the seventh consecutive time, representing 21 years of certification.

June 13, 2022 - Robert P. Paul, MBA, has been named Vice President of Hospital-Based Outpatient Services for Reading Hospital – Tower Health. In this new role, Mr. Paul will continue to provide administrative and operational leadership for 24 hospital-based primary and specialty care practices.

June 8, 2022 - Tower Health announced Thomas Bartiromo as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. In this role, Mr. Bartiromo will lead the following IT teams: Service Desk, Field Services, Media Services, Client Systems, Voice System Engineering, Network Engineering, and Systems Engineering.

June 7, 2022 - Reading Hospital announced it will provide up to 10 full-tuition scholarships for the incoming class of Surgical Technology students at Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences (RHSHS).

June 6, 2022 - Reading Hospital Rehabilitation at Wyomissing will hold its 9th Annual Amputee Golf Outing, sponsored by The Amputee Support Group, on Tuesday, June 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Sittler’s at Sinking Spring, located at 497 Mountain Home Road, Sinking Spring.

June 1, 2022 - Tower Health announced today that Christine Keithly, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, has been promoted to Vice President for Nursing Administration & Operations.

May 27, 2022 - Julie Schlappich, MSN, RN, has been named Vice President, Perioperative and Procedural Services, Reading Hospital, effective May 15, 2022.

May 26, 2022 - Larry Moyer of Spring Township had completed his regular workout at PA Fitness when he collapsed from a stroke in the locker room. Fortunately, Paul Tanis and another gym patron spotted him lying on the floor and asked the gym manager to call 9-1-1 immediately. In recognition of National Stroke Month, Mr. Moyer met with those involved in his treatment.

May 25, 2022 - At an end-of-year celebration, Reading Hospital will recognize six local seniors from Reading and Wilson High Schools who have completed the Reading Hospital High School Internship Program.

May 17, 2022 - In celebration of Trauma Awareness Month in May, Reading Hospital will host "Rebuilding Life After Injury" on Thursday, May 19 from 5 to 7 p.m.
