Reading Hospital Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports the mission of Reading Hospital to benefit the health and well-being of our community.
Contributions from grateful patients, individuals, families, employees, foundations, and corporations enhance and expand vital projects, programs, and services.
Each gift is deeply appreciated and helps our physicians, nurses, and staff members utilize the most advanced technology and treatment methods. Plus, gifts by cash, check, or credit card are tax-deductible.

The Reading Hospital Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that supports the mission of Reading Hospital to benefit the health and wellness of our community. Its purpose is to raise, invest, and disperse funds to support the programs, patients, and community of Reading Hospital. The Foundation is able to provide funding to these areas through patient, community, employee, and physician support.
- What does Reading Hospital do with its money?
As a not-for-profit healthcare system, we proudly reinvest earnings where they belong - back into Reading Hospital and the programs and services provided to our patients and community.
- Where does my donation go?
You decide where you want to direct your support. The Foundation has many funds that directly benefit Reading Hospital’s programs and services, patients, and employees. You may direct your gift to one of the suggested areas or support the area of greatest need. We are happy to provide a duplicate copy of a tax receipt for your records. Simply contact Melissa Karas via email melissa.karas@towerhealth.org or phone 484-628-8666 to have a receipt resent.

- How do I make a gift in honor of the care I received or in memory of a loved one?

- Do you have suggested obituary language for memorial gifts?
Please use the following language for an obituary or other tribute:
